Responsible Gambling and Help
If gambling is causing you worry, you can stop and seek support now. You do not need to make another deposit or recover a loss before taking a break.
Put your limits before play
Decide how much money and time you can afford to spend before starting. Keep that budget separate from money needed for bills and daily life. Do not borrow to gamble or increase your budget to chase losses or a reward.
Guts publishes account tools for deposit limits, session limits, reality-check reminders, time-outs and self-exclusion. Use the Responsible Gaming section while signed in, or contact support through the Help Centre if you need assistance setting an account restriction. A reminder is an aid, not a substitute for stopping when you reach your own limit.
When it is time to step away
Pay attention if you are spending more than planned, hiding your gambling, trying repeatedly to win back losses, or finding it difficult to stop. You do not need to wait for several warning signs before asking for help.
Self-exclusion is intended to prevent further gambling during the chosen period. Do not open another account, switch devices or disguise your location to get around it. If access remains possible when you expect a restriction, stop playing and contact support.
Canadian information and support
The Responsible Gambling Council provides information about gambling harm and routes to support. The Canadian Centre on Substance Use and Addiction’s Lower-Risk Gambling Guidelines explain risk factors and offer resources for reflecting on your gambling. These are independent resources, not casino registration routes.
Choosing not to gamble is always an option. Keep gambling accounts and devices inaccessible to children, and never allow someone under the applicable legal age to use your account. This website is intended for adults 19+.
